Biography:

The Flying Monkeys are characters most famously known from the 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz. They serve the Wicked Witch of the West, acting as her winged minions. These mischievous creatures are known for their striking blue fur and their distinctive red jackets and hats. They are commanded to carry out the Witch's bidding, including capturing Dorothy and her companions.

A LEGO version of a Flying Monkey appears in The Lego Batman Movie. This version is a brick-built figure included in the set 70917, "The Ultimate Batmobile". The Flying Monkey in this set retains the classic appearance, with the blue fur and red uniform, and can be attached to the Batmobile in the film.
